A ‘mind-blowing’ drive-thru coffee company is coming to Manatee County. What to know

It’s a new concept in Florida, but you’re probably going to hear a lot more about 7 Brew Coffee in the near future.

Since its launch in Rogers, Arkansas, in 2017, the drive-thru coffee company has opened over 150 stores in 25 states. Eleven of those stores are in Florida.

Zac Cockman, head of growth for 7 Brew, expects there will eventually be hundreds in the Sunshine State.

The first 7 Brew on Florida’s west coast is proposed for Tampa. But next summer, there could be one in Manatee County as well.

Paperwork filed with Manatee County Development Services indicates a 7 Brew is planned for the Braden River Shopping Center, anchored by Publix, at 14529 State Road 70 E., in Lakewood Ranch.

“7 Brew was born from a desire to change drive-thru coffee into a fun, mind-blowing experience for everyone. We dreamed of serving premium coffee in record time and making new friends while we’re at it. The dream came alive with our first stand in Rogers, Ark., and our seven original coffees,” the company says.

“We take pride in serving specialty coffees, smoothies, chillers, teas, and our exclusive 7 Energy, a premium energy drink that can be infused with over 20,000 flavor combinations. 7 Brew is so much more than just a coffee stand. It’s the concept of cultivating kindness and joy with every drink — through our service, speed, quality, energy and atmosphere. It’s contagious and it’s changing the drive-thru coffee industry,” the company says.

For the record, here are the original seven favors sold by 7 Brew:

Blondie: Caramel and vanilla breve (270-850 calories)

Brunette: Hazlenut and caramel mocha (280-850 calories)

Smooth 7: White chocolate and Irish cream breve (260-840 calories)

Cinnamon roll: White chocolate and brown sugar cinnamon (300-770 calories)

White chocolate mocha: White and milk chocolate mocha (280-850 calories)

German chocolate: Coconut and caramel mocha (280-860 calories)

Triple 7: A Smooth 7 with six espresso shots (180-840calories)

Among businesses which have opened in the Braden River Shopping Center, one of the newest in Lakewood Ranch, are Slim Chickens, an Arkansas-based company, known for its lightly breaded chicken tenders soaked in a buttermilk marinade, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Panda Express and Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza.

In addition, a McDonald’s restaurant is under construction on an outparcel.
