Minerva Canna wins seven cannabis awards
Mar. 13—Minerva Canna, one of New Mexico's original medicinal marijuana dispensaries from 2010, won seven awards at the sixth annual Essie Awards March 3 in Albuquerque, dominating the edible cannabis category.
Minerva Canna won best CBD edible, best THC drink, best THC baked good, best THC chocolate, best THC hard candy, best budtender and most innovative CBD product for its lavender lemon CBD tincture.
"We have been leading the edibles market for many years now, but to win seven awards validates our efforts as well as our goal to perfect our products for our customers and patients," Minerva owner Erik Briones said in a news release.
The Essie Awards are staged by Kurple Magazine, an Albuquerque cannabis publication.
Minerva Canna has seven retail locations in New Mexico, including two in Santa Fe at 1710 Cerrillos Road and 125 E. Water St.
