New Song, Geneva College’s music and drama ministry group, will offer a free performance at 7 p.m. July 10 on Minerva’s Municipal Park Stage.

New Song is a music and drama ministry at the Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, college. Performances, according to the college, convey “the gospel in a contemporary and dynamic way through music and drama.”

The group has been performing for 47 years, and has traveled widely across the United States and Canada and twice to mainland China.

Nine students are chosen in January for the group that begins their service in the summer following.

Lindsay Shaffer, an alumna of Minerva High School and Geneva College, is the director of New Song.

Municipal Park is adjacent to the Minerva High School parking lot. In case of rain, the concert will be at Minerva Community Church, 22763 U.S. Route 30 in Minerva.
