This is a 3D model of Tokyo
It was updated this week to include
a new residential skyscraper
The model covers 89 square miles
at a scale of 1:1000
NAME: SHINJI TAKADA, MORI BUILDING SENIOR MANAGER
"People who are involved in the city's urban development are not only experts, but also include those who work, live, and run businesses in the area. It is important that these people speak in the same language and talk about things from the same perspective. In this context, I think it is very important to make (the information) visible so that everyone can easily understand it"
The miniature city is paired with projection mapping
to help visualize the sea level and train lines
It was first unveiled in 2019 and gets updated every year
