The Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to launch five new services on the state e-services app Diia, Ukrainian Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said on June 22.

"Five new services (are) to be launched in Diia," the minister wrote.

“Among them are the long-awaited services for drivers: customs clearance and re-registration of cars in a few clicks. They will have a powerful anti-corruption effect and save a lot of time for citizens.”

Deposit reimbursement — depositors of bankrupt banks will be able to apply for reimbursement through Diia.

Customs clearance of cars — digitalization eliminates the human factor from the process, and thus makes corruption schemes and bribes at customs impossible.

Change of residence — the service will work without the need for a human. Changes to one’s place of residence will update automatically.

Car re-registration in case of sale and purchase — it will be possible re-register a car in Diia using a QR code. The seller and the buyer will be able to form a contract in the app and sign it after automated checks.

Educational documents — it will be possible to upload certificates and diplomas for admission to higher education institutions or employers.

The Dia app was also recently updated to allow users to replace their driver's licenses.
