Minneapolis Pets Waiting To Be Adopted: Mya, Blanche, Oboe & More

Do you want to add a new member to your family and do something good for the Minneapolis community at the same time? Consider adopting a pet from a local shelter. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, many shelters in Minneapolis and environs are still working to find forever homes for dozens of cats, dogs and other adorable critters coming through.

There are thousands of dogs, cats and other animals of all ages and sizes without a home throughout Minnesota — and many of them are located within driving distance. In the search for a new fur child, consider beginning at a local shelter like Pet Haven Inc Of Minnesota, where Ferrell the cat is waiting patiently. If you aren't sure if you have time to take care of a pet year round, many shelters also offer opportunities to foster pets until they are placed in permanent homes.
