Nov. 4—BEMIDJI — Nearly the entire statewide ticket for the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, including Gov. Tim Walz, will visit Bemidji at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6, for a get out the vote rally in front of the Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statues outside the Tourist Information Center.

Candidates attending will include Gov. Tim Walz, Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, Secretary of State Steve Simon, State Auditor Julie Blaha, Congressional District 8 candidate Jen Schultz and DFL Party Chairman Ken Martin.

The visit is part of the statewide efforts to encourage voting prior to the election on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Other visits will be held in St. Cloud, Grand Rapids and Hermantown on Sunday followed by a story in Duluth on Monday.
