Minnesota train derailment prompts evacuations

A train derailment in Minnesota is forcing residents to evacuate, Channel 9 affiliate ABC News is reporting.

According to ABC News, the derailment happened in the town of Raymond, in response town officials sent out a local evacuation order.

ABC News reports that a BNSF train caught fire after the derailment.

The Kandiyohi Sheriff’s Office sent an overnight release telling residents near the crash to evacuate, ABC News reports.
