Minnetonka and UGG make some of the comfiest slippers around—and they're on sale at Nordstrom

These days, comfort reigns supreme, and we’re far more inclined to slip into a pair of cozy slippers than a pair of killer heels. Luckily, Nordstrom has some of the most coveted slipper styles on the market up for grabs at a huge discount for cardholders as part of its renowned Anniversary Sale.

The Minnetonka’s Fluffy Scuff faux slipper (seen below) and Cosi faux shearling slipper, for instance, are both discounted in this sale, falling from $49.95 to $29.90. While we haven’t tried these exact styles, we named the brand’s Chesney slipper ($44.95) our favorite slippers of all time. Not only were they “incredibly comfortable,” we found them to be well-made, attractive and at a great value for their under $50 price tag. Our tester also wrote that they had the best support of any slipper she tried, and that she appreciated the open back (also seen in the Fluffy Scuffs), as it made them especially easy to slip in and out of.

The Fluffy Scuff slippers on sale here are made with a comfy faux fur that practically begs to have your feet slipped into them, plus a darling bow detail at the top. The Cosis, meanwhile, which have a perfect 5-star review, are made of a leather and faux polyester shearling, with a moc-stitched detail and a satin bow.

Also up for grabs are these cult-loved UGG Fluffette slippers, which go from $89.95 to $59.90. With more than 100 glowing reviews on Amazon, this comfortable footwear is "well-constructed and attractive," according to shoppers on the site. These kicks are available in four different colors and feature an UGGpure wool lining for warmth and comfort.

The ladies aren’t the only ones who deserve to be comfortable, though: Men can check out these UGG leather Romeo slippers, which drop by 41% from $99.95 to $59.90. With a treadlite outsole for versatile indoor/outdoor wear, you can slide on these slippers for quick jaunts to the garage just as easily as for lounging on the couch. The genuine shearling lining also means that comfort will be at an all-time high.

These prices are currently open to all cardholders on the site (you can still sign up to become one and gain early access to shop the sale, though we urge you to shop responsibly), with discounts opening to the general public on Thursday, August 19.
