The play is based upon the Twentieth Century Fox motion picture "Miracle on 34th Street," which itself was adapted from the novel by Valentine Davies.

Their neighbor, Fred Gailey, played by Cole Woltjer, tries to woo Doris by charming Susan, played by Madison Olson, and taking her to see Santa Claus at Macy's.

Doris is not impressed, but when it turns out that the Macy's Santa may, in fact, be the real Kris Kringle, a wave of love spreads across New York that melts even the most cynical hearts.
