Missile attack on the Uman district: one victim killed head of the Cherkasy Oblast Military Administration

On 8 August Russians launched a missile attack on the Uman district in Cherkasy Oblast. A victim died from the injuries.

Quote: "Unfortunately, one of the victims died in the hospital as a result of the missile attack on the Uman district. The doctors did all they could. But didn’t manage to save – the victim received injuries that turned out to be incompatible with life".
Details: Head of the Cherkasy Oblast Military Administration added that the other victim’s condition is moderate and stable.
Background:
On 8 August in the morning during an air-raid siren in the Uman district the Air Defence System shot down a missile.
An object of civil infrastructure was damaged by the fallen remains of the missile. Two people were injured and hospitalised.
At the beginning of July Yevhen Korniichuk, an ambassador, reported that due to the war started by Russia, Ukraine cannot receive Jewish pilgrims on Rosh Hashanah.
