Missile falls in Moldova amid Russian fresh attack on Ukraine

According to law enforcers, the missile was found by border police officers who had stepped up patrolling the areas bordering Ukraine amid today’s Russian missile strikes.

The scene was cordoned off by police and border guards, the police said.

Earlier Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said Russia uses Moldova’s airspace to launch missile strikes at Ukraine.

Russian cruise missiles launched from the Black Sea at Ukraine entered Moldova’s airspace on Oct. 10.

Russia launched over 50 missiles at Ukraine on Oct. 31. The fragments of one of them fell on the territory of Moldova, having damaged residential buildings in the village of Naslavcea on the border with Ukraine. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
