Missile fragment falls on roadway amid fresh Russian strike at Kyiv – video

CCTV camera footage shows a minibus driving along the roadway and the missile fragment falling behind it literally within a second.

A car following the minibus then crashes into the burning missile fragment, which is tossed further along the road.

The incident took place in Kyiv’s Obolon District, with no casualties being reported.

Ukraine and its capital Kyiv again came under attack by Russian missiles late in the morning of May 29, just after suffering one of the heaviest overnight missile barrages in recent months.

Ukrainian air defense reported to have intercepted all aerial targets, namely 11 ballistic and cruise missiles, approaching the capital city.

Fragments of intercepted missiles fell in several Kyiv’s districts. A civilian was injured by falling debris and taken to hospital in the Podil district, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.

Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 37 Russian Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and 29 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 suicide drones in a Russian massive air attack overnight on May 29. The capital’s air defenses downed 40 aerial targets.
