Jade Colvin of Ames, who has been listed as missing since at least 2017, is set to be featured Wednesday on "In Pursuit with John Walsh," a show on the Investigation Discovery TV network that partners with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to try to find missing people.

Colvin, who was white with brown hair dyed red, green eyes and a lip piercing, first was reported missing on May 2, 2016. Ames police reports described her as being about 5-foot-4-inches tall and weighing around 128 pounds.

Police said she may have been a runaway teen. A few days later, Ames police put out a tweet stating she had been found in Des Moines.

But nearly a year later, on March 23, 2017, she was officially reported missing to the Des Moines Police Department. Colvin, who now would be 20, has not had any contact with her family since, according to the TV show, whose host, Walsh, originated and hosted the long-running "America's Most Wanted" TV series after the abduction and murder of his own son, Adam, 6.
