A new Mission Coffee location will open in late August in Mosinee.

Franchisees Dylan and Kaycee Packard will open the shop at 224 Main St. They will share the space with Lamplight Sessions, a new live music venue.

The shop will feature the same drink menu as other Mission Coffee locations in Stevens Point and Plover. However, their food menu will be slightly different. The menu will be heavier on bakery items, Kaycee Packard said, with soups and salads available as well.

Kaycee Packard said they're excited to open a space that can help build community and relationships, especially after the pandemic.

They plan to give back to the community as well. For every bag of coffee that's purchased at the shop, they'll donate $1 to a local organizations.

Customers can choose whether their donation goes to the local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Faith in Action, Community Center for Hope, the Neighbor's Place, the Mosinee School District or Hope Life Center.

Kaycee Packard said they wanted to choose organizations that could help people at all ages.
