Mississippi family searches for missing mother of four

YALOBUSHA COUNTY, Miss. — Family members are on a mission to find a north Mississippi mother of four who has been missing for almost a month.

Paxton Cheyenne Snow was last seen on January 23 after leaving her job in Batesville. A security camera photo shows her walking along Highway 35 North near her workplace.

But her home is located 30 miles away in Tillatoba in Yalobusha County.

Her sister, Alexis McKnight, says it is unusual and concerning that Snow has been missing this long.

“Maybe a couple of days but never more than what we’re getting now. She’s reached out to no family, no friends, no nothing,” McKnight said.

McKnight, Paxton’s stepmom, and friends have been posting flyers with Snow’s picture in two counties with the hope that someone would recognize her.

According to Samantha Smith, Snow is a regular at the Tillatoba Truck Stop Cafe.

“Everybody is curious to know, and we’re worried that something has happened to her,” Smith said.

On Monday, family and friends searched a wooded area near I-55 and Highway 35 North, the last place Snow was seen, to look for any possible clues and chase every reported sighting.

“So many calls that people’s been seeing her, spotting her here, spotting her there and when we go it’s nothing still. It’s somebody else in the place of her,” said her stepmother Angie Bradshaw.

Family members are unaware of anyone who would want to harm the woman and hope wherever she is she hears this message.

“Just reach out and let us know that you’re alright. That’s all we want,” McKnight said.

If you have seen Paxton Cheyenne Snow, you are urged to call the Batesville Police Department at 662-563-5653.
