Mississippi high school football playoff scores, live updates: MHSAA championships Day 2

The MHSAA high school football championships continue Saturday at M.M. Roberts Stadium at Southern Miss.

Scott Central (12-2) looks to win consecutive Class 2A championships with a victory Charleston (11-3). The Rebels put up 72 points in last season's blowout victory over Leflore County. Senior Austin Goss and Southern Miss commitment Javieon Butler look to repeat that offensive performance against the Tigers.

Brandon (12-1) had advance to consecutive state title games and look to knock off Starkville (11-3) in the Class 6A championships. Bulldogs running back Nate Blount will go head-to-head with four-star recruit Braylon Burnside for the state championship.
