Mississippi State football vs. Kentucky: Kickoff time, broadcast information

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football has its first conference crossover game Oct. 15 when it travels to face No. 13 Kentucky. Kickoff will be at 6:30 p.m. at Kroger Field and air on SEC Network, the SEC announced Monday.

No. 23 MSU finds itself in the top 25 for the first time this season after a 42-24 win against Texas A&M. MSU plays host to No. 25 Arkansas on Saturday (11 a.m., SEC Network) before travelling to Lexington.

UK is coming off a loss at Ole Miss. The Wildcats host South Carolina this weekend.

MSU and Kentucky have split the previous six meetings in the series, with the home team winning each time. This will be the 50th meeting between the programs, with Mississippi State winning 25.

Kentucky had a hold on the series before Mississippi State won seven straight from 2009-15.

Last season’s matchup featured a 31-17 win for MSU, with quarterback Will Rogers completing 36-of-39 passes for 344 yards and a touchdown.
