The Mississippi State men's basketball team traveled to Rupp Arena on Tuesday night to face off against the Kentucky Wildcats in another Southeastern Conference matchup.

The Wildcats defeated the Bulldogs 82-74 in overtime.

Mississippi State fell to 13-6 overall and 4-3 in SEC play with the loss.

Ranked No. 13 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, Kentucky improved to 16-4 and 6-2 in SEC play with the victory.
