Mitchell boys basketball to host youth fall league in November

Sep. 15—The Mitchell High School boys basketball program is sponsoring a fall scrimmage league to prepare for the upcoming season.

The league is open to boys in grades 6-8 from Mitchell and the surrounding communities, and will run on Tuesdays from Nov. 2 to Nov. 23.

Games will be played during time slots at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Participants will be put on teams prior to the first night of league play and will be given jerseys. Each team will play two, 32-minute games each night in the MHS gym. An emphasis will be placed on equal playing time.
