Mitchell's Jagger Juracek finishes as runner-up at Brookings Open

Jul. 15—BROOKINGS — Mitchell's Jager Juracek brought home second place at the Brookings Open junior tennis tournament on Sunday.

Juracek entered the tournament as the No. 4 seed in the boys 16-and-under division, but dispatched Watertown's Evan Meester, 6-4, 2-6, 10-6, to advance to the finals.

Juracek dropped a 6-3, 6-1 match to Yankton's Harrison Krajewski in the finals. Krajewski topped Mitchell's Levi Loken in the first round, 2-6, 6-1, 11-9.
