Mizzou-Florida live score and updates

FINAL: Florida 24, Missouri 17

Cook's pass sails, Dove can't grab it and MU turns it over on downs.

It's the first three-game losing streak under Drinkwitz

Peat's sweet feet have Mizzou in reach

Credit the Tigers for responding after Florida's touchdown. Credit the players for making plays. Cody Schrader and Mekhi Miller converted third and longs.

Peat scored his first touchdown on the day with an 18-yard scamper. Missouri isn't done yet. The Tigers trail 24-17 with five minutes and change left in the game.

Richardson puts Florida up 14

An incredible throw by Richardson caps a 91-yard drive by Florida to put the Gators up 14 points in the fourth quarter, which also caps a 10-point swing.

Cook's interception negated a chance for any kind of MU points, while Florida keeps adding on. The MU defense also suffered two injuries with Dreyden Norwood and Trajan Jeffcoat needing help off the field on that nine-play drive.

End of the third: Florida 17, Missouri 10

Florida picks off Cook, again

Deep in Florida territory, Cook made a crippling mistake. With a chance to cut the Gators' lead, Cook threw his second interception of the day.

It was a good play by the defensive back, who worked inside on Tauskie Dove, but Cook needed to see Dove wasn't winning the route. Self-inflicted mistakes are killing Missouri, again.

Florida takes the lead

With fourth and two in MU territory, Anthony Richardson takes an opening and sprints to the Tigers' five-yard line. On the next play, Florida takes the lead.

It's 17-10 Florida, and the pressure is now on Missouri's offense to tie the game. The MU offense can't afford to stall, or make mistakes, with the Gators' offense clearly making adjustments.

Mizzou's defense holds, and Florida can't take the lead

The first drive of the second half goes into MU territory, but the defense holds to force a 47-yard field goal. UF's kicker misses, and the scores stays knotted at 10-10.

The offense has a chance to drive and take the lead for the first time.

HALFTIME: Missouri 10, Florida 10

Missouri ties the game

Credit Missouri for getting back into the game after being down 10-0. Harrison Mevis tied the game with a 28-yard field goal.

After Cook's pick-six, Florida had all the momentum. Missouri has stalled that momentum with two sustained drives on offense and a turnover.

DJ Coleman's strip-sack of Anthony Richardson set up the tying field goal.

Mizzou is back in it

A sustained drive gets Missouri into the end zone. Cody Schrader scores from the four to cut the Gators' lead to 10-7.

This is after a botched snap ended in a throwaway, which saved 15 yards of field position, and Nate Peat got the Tigers down to the red zone. The stress on MU fans' emotions can't be understated.

Either way, Missouri is back in it. The defense has a chance to get the ball back and maybe take a lead before halftime.

Mizzou's defense holds for a field goal, but the Gators miss

Missouri's defense is continuing to hold its opposition and stall drives. This time, MU held UF to a 50-yard field goal.

The Gators missed. MU trails 10-0, and a sustained offensive drive can give the Tigers the momentum right back, even after the interception touchdown.

End of the first: Florida 10, Missouri 0

Pick Six, Florida. Mizzou down two scores.

Just when Missouri was going seven quarters without giving the football away, Brady Cook's pass was read like a book and returned 50 yards for a touchdown.

Florida is up 10-0. MU needs to regroup on the road.

Florida strikes first

After a punt return set Florida up near the MU red zone, the Tigers' defense held. Still, the Gators strike first.

A field goal gives UF a 3-0 lead late in the first quarter. The MU defense has come to play. Brady Cook is 8 of 8 passing heading into the offense's next drive. The Tigers' running game has struggled to get going against the worst rushing defense in the SEC.

Penalties continue to stall Mizzou drives

After a first down toss to Mookie Cooper, Brady Cook ran up the middle for a chunk of yards on first and 10. Connor Tollison was flagged for holding, the first of the day for the unit.

That led to a first-quarter timeout by Drinkwitz, which led to a screen play on third and 18 that didn't get near the first down marker. Mistakes continue to plague the MU offense.

Mizzou and Florida's first two drives stall due to defense

Missouri got the ball to start the game and drove toward midfield. That drive stalled. Florida's following drive stalled, too. Ennis Rakestraw made two good plays in the secondary to force a Gators' punt.

We've seen Dominic Lovett, but not Chad Bailey so far. Luther Burden walked gingerly off the field after the first drive, but returned to field a punt.

Mizzou injury report

The Tigers' injury report was lengthy heading into Saturday.

Kris Abrams-Draine, Chad Bailey, Barrett Banister, Dominic Lovett and Ky Montgomery were all listed as questionable for Saturday's game at Florida. Bailey, who missed last week, was originally discussed as "doubtful" by Drinkwitz earlier this week, meaning there's a good chance he misses his second-straight game.

Out for Missouri are Luke Griffin, Demariyon Houston, Chance Luper, Hyrin White and Elijah Young.

The good news is that Luther Burden was listed as probable, which means he'll most likely be on the field Saturday.
