Mizzou football 2023 schedule: Kickoff times, TV networks set for early season games

Missouri football’s 2023 schedule got a little bit more set on Wednesday, with ESPN announcing two more start times for Tiger games. The two announced make four games with set kick times on the MU slate.

The Tigers now know which of their games will be a digital streaming exclusive. MU’s Sept. 9 matchup with Middle Tennessee State will be exclusively shown on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.

That game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m., meaning MU will have two consecutive night games to begin the season. Missouri’s season-opener against South Dakota will kick off at 7 p.m. on Aug. 31, a Thursday.

The next week, the prime-time streak will end. The Tigers will play Kansas State at Faurot Field at 11 a.m.

That game will be aired on the SEC Network. Last year the eventual Big 12 champion Wildcats beat the brakes off Missouri in Manhattan, winning 40-12 in a game punctuated by weather delays.

MU’s only other game with a set kickoff time so far is the regular season finale at Arkansas. That game, which will be aired on CBS, will take place the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 24, at 3 p.m.
