Mevis doinks in a third field goal

After a short punt, Missouri went deeper into South Carolina territory. The Tigers stalled, but had another solid moment from Mevis.

In reality, it should be 26-10. Mevis should have made the 21-yard field goal. But, up 13 in the fourth still allows Missouri some room for error if needed.

Mevis: The redemption arc, Part II

After missing a 21-yard field goal earlier in the third, Mevis totally redeems himself, again.

He nailed a 50-yard field goal to put Missouri up two scores. It's 20-10 with under two minutes left in the third quarter. Lovett is up to 150 receiving yards after a long reception into USC territory.

Mizzou's deep drive pays off

After starting at its own four, Missouri drove deep into SC territory with productive movement. The Tigers shrugged off a false state, something that has sunk MU consistently, and forged ahead with a Brady Cook touchdown.

Cook's scamper puts MU up 7-0 early, as the Tigers have seemingly shaken off the first quarter woes.

Punts away to start today

After Missouri went three and out to start the game, the Tigers' defense stood strong and forced a punt after South Carolina got to around midfield.

That forced a Gamecocks punt after a MU timeout.

Kickoff: Mizzou starts

The Tigers get the ball first, as South Carolina deferred to the second half.

Taj Butts and Cody Schrader are in the backfield to start this game.

Mizzou injury report

For the first time in a while, Luther Burden is not on the Tigers' injury report. However, two new names are listed as out.

Long snapper Daniel Hawthorne and defensive lineman Josh Landry are listed as out against South Carolina. Landry has a list of players who can back him up, specifically players like freshman Marquis Gracial who is expected to see time this week with Landry out. The long snapper position is something to watch.

Officially, Hawthorne, Landry, Chance Luper and Hyrin White are all out Saturday. For the first time this season, receiver Demariyon Houston is listed as something other than out.
