Ariel Epstein breaks down her top plays for the MLB DFS slate on Friday, August 5th.

ARIEL EPSTEIN: Happy Friday Yahoo Fantasy. I'm the prop queen, Ariel Epstein. With three different players you can put in your Major League Baseball DFS lineups tonight. I'm starting with a pitcher, he's $42, and that's the New York Mets starting pitcher Taijuan Walker. He's up against the Atlanta Braves, who have the second highest K-rate against right handed pitchers this year. In two out of the last three starts, Walker had against the Braves, he had at least seven strikeouts. Also, going back to those last three games that he pitched, Walker threw two out of the three games, shut out baseball. I also like that Walker has a better home ERA than he does on the road. Walker's ERA at home is just below a two, while on the road, it's a 3.38. I'm going with Taijuan Walker as my pitcher tonight in my DFS lineup.

For a right fielder, I'm going with the Los Angeles Dodgers all-star, Mookie Betts. He's up against a lefty in Sean Manaea. And against lefty pitchers, Mookie Betts is hitting .327 this season. He hits better at home than he does on the road. That's why for 20 bucks, Mookie Betts is worth it tonight in my lineup.

This is a crazy price. It's a value play, he's $7, it's Detroit's first baseman and designated hitter, Miguel Cabrera. He's got great history against Kluber. But he also hits really well at home. He's hitting .336 at home this season. Look at this stat line against Kluber, though. 26-72, so he's hitting .361 with 4 doubles, 6 home runs, 13 RBI in his career against Corey Kluber. I really like Miguel Cabrera with the combo of his history against Kluber, plus hitting really well at home this season. $7, signed me up for a future Hall of Famer in Miguel Cabrera.
