Well Major League Baseball all-star game has a new home, Denver, Colorado at Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. The game was last played here in 1998. This was a controversial move, obviously, when Major League Baseball announced last week that they're pulling the game from Atlanta, Georgia because of Georgia's new voting laws.

Denver also had several upper hands in this, in the sense that they bid for the 2022 all-star game a couple of years ago. So the wheels were already in motion here, but this is a big first step for baseball. Baseball stepped out.

They believe also now with the game being moved to Denver, the players won't have to keep answering questions. Will they boycott the game? Will they play at all? Will manager Dave Roberts, one of two Black managers in baseball, will he elect to manage the game? Now all the questions will be baseball questions, alleviating that burden on the players.

So this is Bob Nightengale from USA Today Sports, and this is what I'm hearing.
