MLBB dev MOONTON partners with US Esports Federation for IESF World Championships 2023

Mobile Legends developer MOONTON Games announced on Friday (14 April) that they have partnered with the United States Esports Federation (USEF) to host the IESF World Championships 2023.

The IESF World Championships 2023 aims to bring the global esports community together by hosting 130 teams from countries all around the world to compete in tournaments for multiple titles in Iași, Romania this August.

The event's list of featured titles include MLBB, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Tekken 7, PUBG Mobile, and eFootball.

MOONTON's partnership with USEF is a sign of MLBB's growing influence in the North American esports scene.

While MLBB's core player base has always been in Southeast Asia, the game has been steadily growing its presence in North America, among other regions, since 2021.

The 2023 edition of the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup, taking place in June, will feature North American teams for the first time.

MOONTON has been hosting the North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) since April 2022, which has served as the region's way to qualifying for MLBB's world championship tournament while also driving growth for the local esports scene.

As part of MOONTON's partnership with USEF, NACT's Spring 2023 iteration will serve as the qualifier for IESF 2023 to spur the growth and development of the professional esports landscape in the region.

The NACT Spring 2023 Finals will take place at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on 14 May

Fans can expect to see two of the best North American MLBB teams compete live and join in the offline party at the NACT Spring 2023 Finals as well.
