Taylor Twellman apparently had a great visit to Kansas City.

On Sunday, Twellman was the game analyst for Apple’s broadcast of Sporting Kansas City’s 2-1 win over St. Louis City SC in the Major League Soccer playoffs.

Twellman, who scored 101 goals in his MLS career and played for the U.S. national team, was wowed by the atmosphere at Children’s Mercy Park.

“To @SportingKC and your fans, today’s experience was something else,” Twellman wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I’d put that up against anything I’ve seen or been a part of. You should be very proud of pushing your team forward and to the players.”

Twellman was also quite impressed with what he saw upon landing in Kansas City. It apparently was Twellman’s first time in town since the airport’s new terminal opened earlier this year.

Like CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson, Twellman gave KCI a glowing review, and he made it clear the upgrade was long overdue.

“Just landed in Kansas City,” Twellman wrote on X. “Can’t thank the powers that be that brought this lovely new upgraded airport. It’s beautiful and there is nothing better than your beautiful city not being represented by 1964 anymore. @Fly_KansasCity welcome to the 21st century.”
