Back for week four, mobile vaccine units will roll through South Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore.
Each clinic will offer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to people age 18 and older. Patients do not need an appointment to receive a shot.
Sites are selected to administer vaccines to people living in rural and underserved communities. The state aims to make it easier to inoculate patients at convenient times and locations, according the Virginia Department of Health.
The initiative began in western Tidewater in late May. Clinics set up shop in Portsmouth and Newport News last week.
