Mobile home fire leaves homeowner with minor burns, Clay County Fire Rescue says

A person is recovering from minor burns and smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a mobile home on Tuesday, Clay County Fires Rescue says.

Crews responded to the Green Cove Springs home around 3:20 p.m.

The homeowner was inside the home and was taken to the hospital to be treated.

The Red Cross will assist the homeowner and Animal Services helped to secure the dogs that lived on the property.
