Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) will be celebrating its seventh anniversary this month by unveiling a new logo and revamped user interface (UI) menu as well as ability and graphics reworks for multiple heroes.

MLBB's new logo reflects the newly-introduced Eruditio lore and the many changes it has undergone through the years.

The game's new main screen UI also lets players to interact with a seasonal hero of their choice, with this season featuring Eruditio heroes only such as Layla. Players will get to learn about the featured hero's characteristics, unique storylines, and even secrets through additional voice lines.

Featured heroes will appear on the post-match screen too. Depending on the outcome of the match, the featured hero will even say different voice lines of praises or encouragement to players.

Players can also unlock new voice lines or interactions as they continue to use their chosen hero, which will in turn, also unlock bonus scenes. There will be four layers of bonus hero interactions that can be unlocked.

Upcoming MLBB patches will also different seasonal heroes, with Layla taking the spotlight this season as the hero of choice for new players. Layla will even act as an instructor to help guide novices in their MLBB journey and familiarise them with some of the instructions and controls.

MLBB developer MOONTON Games said in a press release that "this function serves to provide an immersive experience for all players and will not affect in-game performance".

To help players with game optimisation, the next MLBB patch will also feature reduced packaged resources to operate the game, streamlined multi-threading, and upgraded technical performance that will depend on the player's phone model.

Graphics and skill revamps for multiple heroes

Alongside the game's fresh new UI, multiple heroes have also received ability and graphics reworks.

Eruditio heroes Layla, X.borg, Bruno, Johnson, and Lolita as well as non-Eruditio hero Miya are among those receiving graphics updates. Layla notably gets a new steampunk look.

Lolita and Johnson also received ability reworks, with Lolita getting new abilities that reflect long-ranged attacks and summon shields for both herself and her allies while Johnson now immediately gains acceleration upon using his ultimate to transform into a car.

MOONTON said that all the new things coming to MLBB for its seventh anniversary "reflects a fresh and diversified image of the seven-year game still widely played by international gamers worldwide".

"Whether you're a hardcore MOBA fan or a casual player, there's something for everyone in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang with its various game modes, including Magic Chess, Brawl, Arcade, or Rank battles," added MOONTON.
