U.S. District Judge Callie V.S. Granade sentenced 19-year-old Charvez Green to 27 months in prison on Thursday for illegally possessing stolen firearms with illegal conversion devices.

A three-year supervised release will follow the sentence, officials said.

According to a USDOJ press release, Green was convicted after he was found to have firearms while on bond for murder in Mobile County.

Authorities said that Green had a Glock 45 and a Glock 19X, according to the release.

Firearms experts examined Green’s guns and found that both guns were “equipped with an illegal machinegun-conversion device, commonly referred to as a ‘Glock Switch.'” Both firearms had also been stolen, according to officials.
