Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine credited the hard work of officers as one of the reasons the crime rate dropped.

“The significant achievements in reducing crime and enhancing community trust are the result of our officers’ hard work, dedication, and the strong partnership we have built with the people of Mobile,” said Chief Prine. “Our vision for the future is clear – to continue these efforts and maintain our commitment to safety, respect, and engagement across our community.”

The news release said MPD is committed to “upholding these standards of excellence.”
