INCIDENT LOCATION:

Daphne police said Bumpers and the other woman stole over $1,600 of merchandise. Police said they believe the two are possibly connected to a theft ring across Alabama and the Gulf Coast.

The same vehicle make and model was reported at an Ulta in Prattville, Troy and Foley.

“What we charged her with was the organized retail theft,” Daphne Police Lt. Jason Lazzari said.

“That is actually a new charge that was just passed last year and went into effect this January, and what this is, is if it is more than one person, involved in this, then it’s an automatic felony.”

The other female involved has not been identified.
