Moby unveils 'vegan' neck tattoo
Moby has had a new tattoo celebrating his vegan lifestyle branded on his neck.
The Extreme Ways singer - who became vegan in 1987 - shared a picture of the neck tattoo reading ‘VEGAN FOR LIFE” on Instagram.
Moby, 54, wrote: “I’ve been a vegan for almost 32 years, so getting this tattoo seemed like a pretty safe bet. Also, working for animal rights and animal liberation is my life’s work. And to state the obvious, it’s a double entendre.”
Animal rights organisation PETA praised the gesture, writing: “We LOVE it! Your dedication to helping animals is far beyond the commitment to this tattoo.”

The musician - whose real name is Richard Melville Hall - revealed in 2017 he was inspired to become a vegetarian at the age of 19 after rescuing a cat called Tucker from a rubbish dump.
Three years later while playing with Tucker, he resolved to become vegan. He said: "I decided that just as I would never do anything to harm Tucker, or any of our rescued animals, I also would never do anything to harm any animal, anywhere."
Moby is a long-time campaigner for animal rights and owns Little Pine, a vegan restaurant in Los Angeles.
He also founded Circle V, a music festival which celebrates animal rights and raises money for animal protection charity Mercy for Animals.

The Porcelain star said: “I’m a vegan and an animal rights activist for myriad reasons; human health, climate change, antibiotic resistance, etc, but ultimately I’m a vegan and an animal rights activist because I believe that every animal is entitled to live their life according to their own will.”
