"These teams always work best under pressure and we saw that with Inter Milan. This pressure will certainly be there tomorrow and as far as I heard (Sergio) Ramos is playing again. He was made fit again just for this game. It will be a strong Real Madrid team, that's for sure but that doesn't surprise us."

7. TEAM WARMING UP

STORY: Borussia Moenchengladbach will face Real Madrid with "confidence," the Germans' coach Marco Rose said on the sidelines of a training session on Tuesday (December 8), one day before the crucial match.

The Foals, who have never qualified for the knockout stages of the modern Champions League, have played their most exciting European season in decades.

The Germans just need a point in Madrid to secure their knockout berth and given their form this season it is by no means impossible.

They have beaten Shakhtar Donetsk twice - scoring 10 goals without reply - and drawn with both Inter Milan and Real.

Rose told reporters teams performed best under pressure and that his squad will find just that in Madrid.

"We know what to expect and that we need to defend extremely passionately and diligently," Rose told reporters at the club's training ground.

The match kicks off at 2000GMT on Wednesday (December 9).
