In a story of incredible friendship, a special bond has been formed between Molly the Beagle and a baby possum after she lost her litter of puppies shortly after giving birth to them.
According to Nine News Australia, the possum, nicknamed Poss, was abandoned by her mother and was in need of a new companion.
"They've been inseparable ever since," explained Molly's owners Elle and Sara Moyle to 9E News. “It's certainly uplifted her mood, they both needed each other I think so it's been a fantastic relationship."
The two animals, who live on their cattle farm in Victoria, Australia, have been spending a lot of time together, with the possum clinging firmly onto its new mother's back.
