Mom beat daughter at school after learning she skipped. At home, she used belt, cops say.

When Ana Friasrosario showed up at her 14-year-old’s school she “began to strike her in the face repeatedly with her cellphone,” pulled her hair and punched her in the face and body, police said.

And the assault didn’t stop there.

Police say the girl told detectives that when they got home her mother used a belt to strike her on her legs and back, bit her in the back and punched her in the face.

The reason, police say: Friasrosario learned her daughter had skipped school.

On Friday, the 33-year-old mother was being being held in Miami-Dade’s Metro West Detention Center on a $6,500 bond. She faces a battery charge and a child abuse charge.

Police say the girl suffered bruising, belt marks, a bite mark and a black eye.

The mother later confessed to causing the injuries, according to police.
