The video begins with a shot of Shannon and her 3 kids demonstrating their homemade snowball-shooting gadgets. Each child holds what appears to be a roll of cardboard holding a white pompom. They pull a piece of stretchy material at the back of the cardboard roll to shoot the snowballs at the camera.

Next, Shannon shares how she makes her snowball shooters. She starts by rolling up a piece of 4 by 12 cardstock. As she rolls the paper, she explains, “A paper towel roll works too, but it’s not as sturdy.”

Shannon tapes the paper together, then grabs a balloon. “Tie the end of a balloon and then cut off a piece of the top,” she instructs. “Stretch it open and put it over the cardstock.”

Next, Shannon begins adding her decorations. She glues a piece of pink felt to the roll of cardstock to make a scarf, then uses multi-colored markers to draw a snowman face.

Finally, Shannon places a white pompom into the roll and demonstrates how the gadget works. She pulls and releases the back of the balloon, which shoots the pompom across the room.

The video ends as Shannon and her kids engage in a “snowball” fight together, shooting white pompoms at each other and laughing.

Viewers couldn’t get enough of Shannon’s creative winter game.

“Cute! Definitely going to try this,” wrote one viewer.

“Perfection! So fun and easy for the whole family!” another TikToker commented.

“OMG, I love this and I’m making one. Not a kid, but I don’t care. I’m in!” wrote another viewer.

Shannon’s mess-free indoor snowball fight is certainly a creative way to fight the winter blues!
