Mom finishes 6th round of chemo, has no idea her ‘village’ is waiting in the parking lot
A breast cancer survivor celebrated her final round of chemo — then her whole “village” showed up.
Aisha Patterson has been documenting her cancer journey on TikTok. She has shared doctor’s visits, hair updates and precious moments with her family. When Patterson completed her sixth round of chemo, her loved ones gave her an emotional surprise.

“After six rounds, I finally finished chemo, and my village showed up for me,” Patterson wrote. “I love my village!”

The video showed the mother leaving the hospital and walking through the parking lot.
“I’m done with chemo because I did six rounds,” she said. “In Jesus’ name, I will never have to do it again, never, ever, ever, ever.”
Suddenly, Patterson saw some familiar faces in the distance. Her family and friends had gathered to surprise her. They brought signs, balloons and noisemakers to cheer the mother on. It was definitely a moment to celebrate together.
“They’ve been here since noon,” the person behind the camera told her.
Patterson’s children ran toward her and hugged her for an emotional embrace. The touching video received over 2.7 million views on TikTok.
“This has me in tears. So beautiful and strong,” a person wrote.
“This is so touching!” another commented.
“I’m bawling my eyes out,” someone added.
