Watch the flower expand and contract while you breathe along—and boost your mental health.
In collaboration with breathwork expert Viral Khajuria, the Yahoo team conceived an experience that could deliver a useful tool to our readers while utilizing next-gen technology. Lead designer Heewon Sohn chose to depict a lotus flower because of its history as a symbol of enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth.
"The lotus flower has a deep cultural significance for many people across many groups, and I thought it was a perfect representation as an object within the experience," Sohn said.
