Mon Incline out of service after getting stuck with several people on board, officials say
The Monongahela Incline is out of service until further notice after getting stuck Friday, according to Pittsburgh Regional Transit.
PRT tells Channel 11 each car became stuck about 50 feet from their respective stations.

Police, fire and paramedics all responded and a rescue team was prepared to get people off the upper car.
There were nine passengers in one car, and three in the other. Cars started moving again just after 6 p.m. without anyone needing to be rescued.
All rescue crew members and PRT personnel were accounted for and uninjured, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.
Medics transported one passenger to the hospital for heavy intoxication.
A preliminary investigation has concluded that condensation buildup caused by an air conditioning unit attached to an electrical cabinet triggered the emergency brake, PRT said Monday. The incline will remain closed until engineers determine a way to allow the condensation to dissipate more efficiently.
