Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change’s so-called “sibling rivalry” is being taken to a whole new level.

The two RuPaul’s Drag Race champions will be featured in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons that will air on Sunday, January 1, 2023 on Fox. The episode is titled “My Life As a Vlog” and centers around the Simpson family running a vlog and getting recommended videos on YouTube.

Writer Carolyn Omine shared a first-look image of Bob and Monét as Simpsons characters and announced their upcoming appearance on Twitter, writing:

“What are you doing New Year's Day?  I'll be live-tweeting and watching [Bob the Drag Queen] and [Monét X Change] on an all-new episode of [The Simpsons].”

Both queens have since reacted to the announcement. Bob wrote:

“This is a huge moment for me. So glad that I could do this with my best friend.”

Monét also shared a tweet celebrating the news:

“On New Year’s Day, [Bob the Drag Queen] and I become [The Simpsons]!

The queens also shared a video on Instagram where they stand in front of Simpsons-themed building. Bob picks Monét up on her arms and they both gleefully yell at the camera:

“We’re on The Simpsons, b*tch!”

The only other time when Drag Race stars were featured on The Simpsons was all the way back in 2018, when RuPaul herself was the central focus of an episode titled “Werking Mom.” The episode also featured a cameo from Raja in full Simpsons form.

Now, it is Bob and Monét’s turn to get the full Simpsons treatment and solidify themselves in the iconic canon of this long-running animated series. We can’t wait to see how this turns out!

The Simpsons season 34 episode 12, featuring Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change, airs Sunday, January 1, 2023 on Fox.
