MONAT Gratitude awards grant to Smyrna nonprofit

May 26—MONAT Gratitude has awarded Smyrna nonprofit Miracle Foundation of Arts and Academics with a $5,000 grant as part of its $1 million pledge to close achievement gaps in underserved communities around the world.

The grant will fund instruments, instructors and other resources for the organization's school day and summer camp programs. The grant is a result of MONAT Gratitude's ongoing efforts to support new and existing initiatives in arts/culture, youth sports/recreation and youth entrepreneurship. In total, MONAT Gratitude has invested more than $380,000 in youth education programs across the globe so far in 2022.

The mission of Miracle Foundation of Arts and Academics is to provide K-8 academic education, music and arts instruction, as well as mentoring and workshops to empower children to reach their fullest potential.
