New London 7, Winneconne 0

WINNECONNE - The Bulldogs broke through for seven runs in the 15th inning as New London outlasted the Wolves in a nonconference matchup.

Macey Clark took the loss for Winneconne, despite striking out 28 batters. She walked five, while allowing nine hits and five walks in 14⅓ innings before running out of gas.

Clark broke the state record for most strikeouts in a game. She threw 229 pitches.

The Bulldogs snapped a scoreless tie as Molly Kable drove in two runs. Sommer Krull and Maribel Glodowski had a pair of hits to lead New London.

Jordan Biesinger and Alexa Lang had two hits each to lead Winneconne.

Kenna Mix picked up the win, going all 15 innings, allowing 10 hits, walking three and striking out five.

Mishicot 20, Reedsville 0

REEDSVILLE - Ashlyn Bennin tossed a three-inning no-hitter and Katelyn Callahan and Cora Stodola drove in five runs each as Mishicot rolled to the Big East Conference win.

Mishicot scored 13 runs in the first, five in the second and two in the third.

Stodola was 4-for-5, while Bennin was 3-for-3 with an RBI. Callahan and Valerie Driscoll added two hits each.

Wisconsin Rapids 10, Merrill 0

WISCONSIN RAPIDS - Megan Clary was 4-for-4 with an RBI and Rhiannon Carroll was 2-for-3 with an RBI as the Red Raiders cruised to the Wisconsin Valley Conference victory.

Sawyer Holberg and Emily Friday also had two hits each for the Red Raiders, including two RBI for Friday.

Carroll was also solid in the circle, allowing just two hits and two walks, while striking out six in the six-inning win.

Manitowoc 15, Green Bay East/West 0

MANITOWOC - Olivia Konkle and Kendra Wech each had three hits for the Ships in the victory.

Konkle had a double and an RBI, while Wech had a double, a triple and two RBI.

Karenna Sorenson added two hits, including a double, and two RBI; Delaney Granger had two hits, including a double, and two RBI; and Lizzy Stuebs had two hits, two stolen bases and three RBI.

Stuebs pitched two innings with two strikeouts and Tina Knox pitched two innings with three strikeouts for Manitowoc.

Luxemburg-Casco 3-20, Clintonville 0-0

LUXEMBURG - The Spartans swept the Truckers in North Eastern Conference action.

Game 1 was a pitchers duel between Luxemburg-Casco’s Rebecca Kroll and Clintonville’s Carolyn Sasse. Each maintained a no-hitter through the first five innings with Sasse’s being a perfect game.

Kroll pitched a hitless top of the sixth before the Spartans finally broke through in the bottom of the inning on Payton Kaminski’s double, Kylie Hanson’s two-out RBI single, Kroll’s RBI double and Josie Dorner’s RBI single. Kroll recorded all outs in the seventh via strikeout to end the game and record her second consecutive no-hitter.

Kroll threw a complete game, surrendering no hits, 15 strikeouts and two walks.

Leading the Luxemburg-Casco offense were Hanson and Kroll, who were 2-for-3.

In the nightcap, Emily Jandrin threw her first career no-hitter in the three-inning victory. Jandrin stuck out four and walked one.

Leading hitters for Luxemburg-Casco were Lauren Adams, who was 2-for-2 with three runs scored; and Hanson, who was 2-for-2 with three runs scored and three RBI.

Luxemburg-Casco is 16-3 overall, 15-2 in the conference.

Winnebago Lutheran 8, St. Mary's Springs 7

FOND DU LAC - After building a six-run lead after two, WLA needed extra innings to hold off Springs in a key Flyway Conference matchup.

Alea Anhalt led the Vikings’ offense, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Makayla Carey doubled and drove in three. Getting two hits each for WLA were Amber Johnson, Kiara Shea, Lindsey Nell and Abby Cole.

Ella Guelig led the Ledgers, going 2-for-4 with a homer and five RBI. Grace Konkol, Aubrey Hafermann, Navaeh Galligan and Jenna Dux had two hits each for Springs.

Two Rivers 11, Brillion 4

TWO RIVERS - The Purple Raiders scored five times in the second inning and six in the sixth to outlast the Lions in Eastern Wisconsin Conference action.

Kallan Meyer was 2-for-4 with two doubles and five RBI, while Kailey Pyles was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and an RBI for Two Rivers. Also leading the Raiders were Mackenzie Graff with a triple and three RBI; Madi Cortte, who was 2-for-4; and Kendal Behnke with a double and an RBI.

Hannah Shimek was 2-for-3 with a homer for Brillion.

Pyles got the win, pitching all seven innings, allowing three hits, zero walks and two earned runs with six strikeouts.

Bristol Foytik took the loss, allowing 11 runs on nine hits, while striking out six.

Two Rivers is 9-2 in the conference.

Shiocton 9, Omro 6

OMRO - Shiocton jumped out to a five-run lead after four innings and bumped that advantage to seven in the seventh before hanging on for the nonconference win.

Josie Erickson led the offense, going 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, while Brooklyn Kleiber was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Also banging out two hits each were Elizabeth Pelky and Eve Suprise.

Lily Derleth, Madi Brooks, Tegan Malnory, Jaelyn Stadler and Grace Eckstein had two hits each for the Foxes.

Iola-Scandinavia 12, Amherst 2

IOLA - The Thunderbirds took advantage of eight Amherst errors en route to the CWC win.

Iola-Scandinavia (11-3, 6-3) scored five runs in the first, two in the second and three in the third. The Thunderbirds wrapped up the win in the fifth with a pair of runs.

The loss dropped Amherst to 5-4 in the CWC and 9-6 overall.

The T-Birds outhit the Falcons 10-4 as Clara Koles had three hits, including a double, and three RBI. Alexa Christoph had a two-run home run in the second inning, Myah Heschke hit a two-run single in the first inning and Makayla Much had a run-scoring double in the fifth.

Pitcher Maddie Much pitched all five innings to earn the win. She allowed only four hits, no walks and had one strikeout.

Mosinee 18, Marathon 0

MOSINEE - Mosinee scored 13 runs in the fourth inning en route to the nonconference win.

Mikah Keller paced the offense, going 4-for-4 with three RBI, while Hailey Schnowske was 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Adeline Strejc was 2-for-4 with two RBI, while Maria Valls Raya and Tristan Wicklund had two RBI each.

Kayla Radtke had two hits to lead Marathon.

Auburndale 10, Colby/Abbotsford 1

COLBY - The Eagles scored early and often, building an 8-1 lead after four innings to cruise to the nonconference victory.

Auburndale was led by Mya Krings, who was 2-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored; Samantha Stanton, who was 3-for-5 with two runs scored; Erin Griesbach, who scored two runs; Ashlyn Grimm, who was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored; and Kimmie Lundgren, who was 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Ashlyn Grimm picked up the win, pitching seven innings, striking out seven while walking one and allowing three hits and one unearned run as Auburndale moved to 5-6 overall.

Tatum Bargender took the loss for Colby/Abbotsford, allowing 10 runs on 14 hits with one walk and five strikeouts in seven innings.

Sheboygan Falls 8, Roncalli 2

MANITOWOC - The Falcons rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to post the Eastern Wisconsin Conference win.

Claire Schleicher led Sheboygan Falls to victory in the circle. She allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking one.

Madison Lamers took the loss for Roncalli, allowing 13 hits, while walking one and striking out three.

Jenna Wall had a two-run single for Roncalli in the first inning. Jena Garceau had three hits for the Jets.

Hilbert/Stockbridge 15, Sheboygan Lutheran 4

SHEBOYGAN - Lillian Sheets, Olivia Halbach, and Meghan Propson each had three hits to lead Hilbert/Stockbridge in its win over Sheboygan Lutheran.

Propson drove in three runs, while Halbach and Sheets each brought in two.

Anna Aldrete got the win for the Wolves and Kamrynn Wiltzius took the loss.

Taylor Brigham went 1-for-2 with two RBI for the Crusaders.

Oconto 16, Sturgeon Bay 1

STURGEON BAY - The Blue Devils broke the game wide open with three runs in the third, six in the fourth and six in the fifth.

Kadynn Bostwick was 3-for-4 with three RBI, while Juliana Sieber was 3-for-4 with two RBI to power Oconto. Also leading the Blue Devils were Maggie Sohrweide and McKenna Seidl, both with two hits, while Sohrweide drove in three runs.

Annika Schleuter picked up the win, allowing one earned run on five hits and one walk, while striking out eight.

Sierra Arneman doubled and drove in the Clippers’ lone run.

Wausaukee 14, Crivitz 4

WAUSAUKEE - The Rangers jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first inning and tacked on six more in the second to put the game away early against the Wolverines.

Wausaukee took advantage of eight Crivitz errors, while only collecting six hits. Three of those were from pitcher Rachel Schlies - who in addition to going 3-for-4 at the plate, finishing a triple short of the cycle, also pitched a no-hitter with two earned runs and six strikeouts. Melody Schaal went 2-for-3 with a home run, stolen base and three RBI.

Crivitz managed to plate all four of its runs off Rangers miscues, including nine walks from Schlies and four Wausaukee errors.

BASEBALL

Hortonville 13, Kaukauna 6

HORTONVILLE - The Polar Bears scored five runs in the second inning and finished with 15 hits in the win over the Ghosts.

Nathan Vela had three hits, including a home run, and drove in four runs for Hortonville. Camden Kuhnke, Hayden Timm, Turner Kuhnke and Jack Coenen each had two hits, and Cole Krause added a home run. Coenen had a double and a triple.

Owen Maas and Carter Steineke each had two hits for Kaukauna.

Sam Dodd pitched five innings to get the win. He allowed four hits, three runs and struck out eight.

Manitowoc 14, Notre Dame 9

GREEN BAY - The Ships scored six runs in the top of the third inning to go ahead 10-2 in the Fox River Classic Conference win.

Brock Peterson drove in four runs for Manitowoc. Ashton Portmann had three hits and three RBI, and Noah Wech had two hits and two RBI. Bryce Erdmann also had two hits.

Brady LaViolette was 4-for-5 with a home run and two RBI for Notre Dame. Micah Marzec and Owen Wery each drove in two runs, and Evan Duncan had two hits.

Waupun 13, Chilton 3

WAUPUN - The Warriors scored eight runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to beat the Tigers in a nonconference matchup.

Dane Stelsel had two hits and drove in four runs for Waupun. Jake Krueger and Brayden Larsen each added two hits and two RBI, and Conrad Davis also had two RBI. Larsen was the winning pitcher.

Chilton pitchers issued 11 walks and hit three batters.

Alex Breckheimer had two hits, including a double, for Chilton.

Green Bay Preble 16, Sturgeon Bay 3

STURGEON BAY - The Hornets outslugged the Clippers in nonconference action.

Sturgeon Bay was led by Danny Lodl and Curt Meyer, both with a home run with Lodl driving in a pair of runs.

Caleb Plzak added a double for the Clippers.

Amherst 17, Iola-Scandinavia 0

IOLA - Ben Lee tossed a one-hitter and the Falcons stayed perfect in the CWC at 9-0 and 15-0 overall. Lee walked two and struck out nine in five innings.

He also led the offense, going 3-for-4 with four runs scored with one double and four RBI. He also stole a base. Landon Moe was 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Isaiah Hoyard had Iola-Scandinavia’s lone hit as the Thunderbirds fell to 3-5 in the CWC and 4-9 overall.

Kewaunee 5, Gibraltar 3

KEWAUNEE - The Storm scored four times in the fourth to erase an early three-run deficit en route to the Packerland Conference win.

Cal Ihlenfeldt was 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI, while Cain Hall was 2-for-3 for the Storm.

Crivitz 13, Wausaukee 2

WAUSAUKEE - The Wolverines used five-run fourth and fifth innings to earn the Marinette & Oconto Conference win.

Sean Christiansen had the hot bat, going 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI, while Seth Sellen tripled and drove in three. Eli Gruszynski and Dillan Gehm had two hits each with Gehm also driving in a pair of runs.

Prestin Brunette had two RBI to lead the Rangers.

Pacelli 10, Pittsville 4

PITTSVILLE - An eight-run fourth proved to be the undoing of the Panthers in a key CWC matchup.

Drew Kedrowski homered and drove in three runs for Pacelli, while Brycen Cashin was 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI, and Nick Helms had three hits, including a double, and one RBI.

Malise Beduhn, Brook Birrenkott, Asher Jordan and Ben Haemmerle all added two hits each, with Jordan and Haemmerle adding two RBI.

Noah Grimm, Evan Haley, Dylan Luther and Logan Zickert had two hits each to lead Pittsville.

Lourdes Academy 2, Oakfield 1

OAKFIELD - Marshall Koch and Hunter Stelzer had back-to-back hits in the first inning to drive in the Knights’ only runs.

Stelzer picked up the win, going five innings, walking two and striking out three.

Oakfield scored its lone run in the fifth.

Sheboygan Lutheran 11, Hilbert 1

SHEBOYGAN - Blake Allen went 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI to lead the Crusaders over the Wolves.

David Vanic picked up the win, going six strong innings giving up only five hits while striking out seven and walking just one batter.

Sam Bradley went 2-for-3 with a pair of stolen bases for Hilbert.

Parker Kleppen took the loss after 4 1/3 innings, giving up six earned runs and striking out five batters.

GIRLS SOCCER

Winnebago Lutheran 2, New Holstein 0

NEW HOLSTEIN - Ava Lorenz scored a pair of goals, including off a penalty kick in the 20th minute, as the Vikings topped the Huskies. Lorenz’s second goal came in the 78th minute.

Lydia Bernhard had six saves for WLA.

“Ava continues her stellar season,” Vikings coach David Haag said. “Our defense played very solid tonight in a game that presented a lot of challenges because of a very stiff wind. Our senior center back Ella Biertzer did a great job of leading the defense to another clean sheet.”

Assumption 3, Amherst 1

WISCONSIN RAPIDS - Kendall Duellman scored three goals, including two in the first half, as the Royals outlasted the Falcons. Kayla Kerkman picked up an assist.
