PORTSMOUTH – Ellie Seefried scored a team-high three goals, while Avery Ruhnke, Sally Collins and Mia Smith both had two as the Portsmouth High School girls lacrosse team improved to 10-1 with a 14-2 win over Oyster River on Monday in a Division II game.

Julia Roelofs, Kye MacLeod, Sadie Alati, Annie Parker and Maggie MacDonald all had one goal for the Clippers, while Charlotte Marston had four assists and Morgan Ruhnke had one.

Waverly Oake-Libow and Caitlin Ferris both scored a goal for Oyster River, while Sophie Royal had an assist.

KITTERY, Maine - Jacey Johnson had three goals for Traip In this Class C South win.

Sarah Carven, Julia Durling and Keira Alessi all had two goals for the Rangers.

Dover 12

Salem 3

DOVER - Julia Rowley’s three goals and three assists led Dover to this Division I win.

Molly Goodridge added two goals and three assists for the Green Wave, while Danielle Young had two goals.

Arianna Bowden, Rylen Gray, Samantha Dyer, Payton Denning, and Zayda Clairmont all had one goal in the win.

York 17

Gray-New Gloucester 3

YORK, Maine - Rose Pavuk had seven goals for York in this Class B win.

Abby Armlin added two goals for the Wildcats, while Lexi Bardwell, Ashley LaPierre, Cary Drake, Clara Pavuk, Reese Walenta, Emma Joyce, and Kristen MacAuley 1 all had one. For Walenta, Joyce and MacAuley it was their first varsity goals.

Clark Pavuk added six assists. while Drake, Boissonneault and Anna Doughty all had one.

York goalie Dilyana Djenkova had two saves, earning her first varsity win.

BOYS LACROSSE

PORTSMOTUH - Zac Amend, Dylan Roelofs and Dom Maldari all had three goals for Portsmouth in this Division II win.

Keigen Delisle, Nick Smith and Michael O’Neil all had two goals, while Briggs Catino and Ben Purcell both had one.

Portsmouth goalie Nathan Amend had nine saves behind the strong defensive efforts from Caleb Comstock, Masi Shone, Max Diep, and Ryan Patten.

Oyster River 9

NORTH WOOD - Sam Guilmette had three goals and three assists for Oyster River in this Divison II win.

Jake Lyczak and Jake Failla both scored two goals for the Bobcats, while Evan Plourde and Marc Parsons both had one.

Gabe Goodwin added two assists in the win. Oyster River goalie Finn Mason had nine saves.

KITTERY, Maine - Sophomore Brody Johnson had six goals and helped Traip Academy win this Class C South game, its first win as a varsity program.

Tucker Johnson and Makili Matty both scored for the Rangers.

Thornton Academy 15

Marshwood 4

SACO, Maine - Declan FitzGerald had two goals and one assist for Marshwood in this loss.

Kevin Cougler (goal, assist), Chase Turcotte (goal) and Ty Cougler (assist) figured in the scoring for the Hawks.

Marshwood goalie Luke Dockham had 12 saves.

DOVER - finley Detolla had three goals and five assists, leading St. Thomas Aquinas to this Division II win.

Anthony DiMartino added three goals and two assists for the Saints, while Aidan Morrison (four goals), Jackson Estes (three goals), Ryan Stailey (three goals), Lincoln Stone (two goals), Marcus Broom (two goals), Johnny Resch (two goals, assist), Finn Connor (goal, three assists), John Reeve (goal), and Evan Mailot (goal) all figured in the scoring.

MANCHESTER – Justin Blumenthal’s two-run homer in the seventh rallied Portsmouth (12-0) to this Division I win.

Pinch-hitter Jake Carlisle led off the seventh with a walk, one out later, Blumenthal homered to left, giving Portsmouth the lead.

Sebastian Lampert struck out three, earning the win, while Elliot Miles pitched the seventh and got the save.

Max Lalime (two hits, home run, two RBIs), Miles (hit, two runs, two steals), Matthew Minckler (two hits, two steals), and Colin Marshall (two RBIs) led the Portsmouth offense.

Spaulding 3

EXETER – Junior left-hander Josh Scamman scattered eight hits over seven innings as Spaulding blanked Exeter in this Division I game.

Scamman struck out eight for the Red Raiders, now 3-8. Exeter is 8-3.

Spaulding scored two runs in the first inning and one in the fifth.

Sam Farrington had two hits and scored two runs for Spaulding, while Jack Sullivan, Wesley Alfonso, Conor Bryant, and Garrett Doucette all had a hit. Doucette and Alfonso each had an RBI.

Exeter’s Jake Wiberg had three hits, while Cam Keaveney, Parker Lendrum, Ryan Morgado, and Damon Grace all had one.

NASHUA – Junior Ethan Nowak allowed two hits and struck out three over five innings for Winnacunnet (8-4) in this Division I win at Holman Stadium.

Jake Fredericks had three hits and scored a run for the Warriors, while Hunter Chase (two hits, run), Joe Allen (hit, RBI), Zach Brassill (hit), Lebron Miller (hit, RBI), Matt Maggiore (hit, run, RBI), and Ty Mitchell (hit, run) led the offense.

YORK, Maine – The Wildcats scored four in the first, five in the fifth, and one in the sixth for this Class B South win.

Freshman John Jacobsohn struck out three over three innings of relief, earning the win.

Gage Spagna, Charlie Covert and Jack Lacouture all had two hits for the Saints, while Cade Murphy (RBI, run), Devon Paquette (two RBIs), Mike Skowron and Thaao Papakonstantis all had one hit.

DOVER -Graham Willerer allowed one hit and struck out 10 over five innings, leading Nemarket (7-3) to this Division IV win.

Andrew Berthiaume had two three-run homers and six RBIs for the Mules, while Cam Moran (two hits, four runs, RBI), Nick Nigro (two hits, run, two RBIs), Willerer (two hits, three runs), Cooper Mills (double, RBI), and Gus Vigorito (hit) all contributed.

Matt Ford added a two-run single for the Rangers,, while Cam Maes singled twice. Zac Foye allowed three earned runs in two innings of relief, taking the loss.

ROCHESTER – Kristen Beebe struck out 11 and didn’t allow a hit in this five-inning, Division I game.

Madi Paige led Exeter with three hits, two RBIs and two runs. Teammates Annie Christiana and Summer LeClerc both had two hits and two RBIs.

Mackenzie Ducharme (two hits, two runs) and Dejah Rondeau (two RBIs, two runs) also contributed.

DOVER – Freshman Abbie Gaynor struck out 13 and allowed one hit for the Saints in this Division III win.

Gaynor also had three hits, two RBIs and three runs scored. Gaynor’s two-run triple in the sixth broke a 1-1 tie.

Teammates Jenna Bancroft (two hits, two RBIs), Ava Coffey (two hits, RBI), Ashleigh von der Linden (two hits, run), Sophie Graziano (two hits, run), Amelia Anderson (hit) and Elizabeth Flynn (hit) led the offense.

HAMPTON – Zaynah Wotkowicz had two extra-base hits and Lily Snow had one for Winnacunnet in this Division I win.

NEWMARKET - Riley Andriski went 4 for 4 with a triple, three RBIs and four runs scored for Newmarket in this Division IV win.

Kierra Souphakhot added three hits, including a home run. The freshman also struck 12, earning the win. Isabella Mendez starred defensively.

PETERBOROUGH - Hailey Pruett had two hits and two RBIs for Coe-Brown in this Division IV win.

Haile Comeau (three doubles), Annie Jerome (two-run double), and Madi DeCota (three hits) starred on offense. DeCota earned the complete-game win, striking out eight.

DURHAM - Brianna McInnes had four hits, including two doubles and a home run, drove in four and scored four runs in this Division II win for Oyster River (6-3).

Maddy Veno, Maeve Hickock and Mia Boyd all had two hits and an RBI for the Bobcats, while Annabelle Svenson and Zoe Boyd both had one hit and scored a run. Boyd also had two RBIs.

YORK, Maine – The Wildcats scored 15 runs in the fourth inning and improved to 8-0 with this Class B South five-inning win.

McKayla Kortes allowed two hits and struck out nine, earning the win.

Senior captains Jill Carr (three RBIs) and Elly Bourgoine both had three RBIs for the Wildcats, while sophomore Emily Estes (three hits, three RBIs), Maddy Raymond (two hits, RBI), Ella Moon (hit, RBI), Kortes (hit, RBI), Carlie Welch (hit, RBI) and Kathryn Fountain (hit, RBI) contributed to the York offense.

Elizabeth Drakatos and Cook won 8-5 at No. 1 doubles, Mikkonen and Harini Subramanian won 7-5 at No. 2, and Karthik and Sydney Connor won 8-6 at No. 3.

Alexandra Knox (No. 1, 8-5), Laia Esteban (No. 4, 8-4) and Maggie Wade (No. 6, 7-4) won in singles for the Saints.

Wilson and Faasen won 8-1 at No. 1 doubles, Vitko and Emilia Ross won 8-1 at No. 2, and Hitchcock and Mia Mizzoni won 8-2 at No. 3.
