CANTON MCKINLEY 2, NORTH CANTON HOOVER 1  Charles Parsons allowed one run over six innings as the Bulldogs gained a Federal League win Thursday at Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium. It is the Bulldogs' first win against Hoover in 11 years. Down 1-0, McKinley scored twice in the bottom of the fourth to take the lead, with Savian Wilkins' triple driving in Parsons with the go-ahead run.  Wilkins allowed two hits but pitched a scoreless seventh to get the save for the Bulldogs (3-3, 2-2). Drew Stangelo and Carson Dyrlund each had two hits for Hoover (2-2, 2-2), with Stangelo driving in its lone run. Parsons allowed five hits and four walks while striking out six to move to 3-0. Hoover starter Mason Ashby (0-1) went 4.2 innings, allowing two runs (one earned), two hits and three walks while striking out five.

LAKE 3, PERRY 1 Caleb Collins' two-out, two-run hit in the bottom of the sixth proved to be the difference in the Blue Streaks' Federal League win. Noah Kubasky went 6.1 innings to get the win for Lake (3-0, 2-0), while Jeriah Davis got the final two outs for the save. Perry's Will Willis went five innings and struck out eight in a no-decision.

CVCA 3, CANTON SOUTH 2 The Royals scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to rally for a PAC-7 win. Josh Shafer led South by going 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.
