CARROLLTON 50, SANDY VALLEY 42 Lincoln Mallarnee scored 23 points to lead Carrollton to its 17th consecutive win. Jaxon Rinkes also had 17 points for Carrollton, which clinched a share of the EBC title the previous night.

JACKSON 68, TALLMADGE 54 James Bossart and Kyle Monterrubio scored 15 points apiece for Jackson as the Polar Bears defeated visiting Tallmadge. Owen Woolbert also had 14 points for the Polar Bears.

LOUISVILLE 53, LAKE 49 Brooke Haren scored 20 points for Louisville to lead the Leopards to a victory on the road over Lake. Taryn Miglich added 13 points for Louisville. Courtney Barwick chipped in 10 points for the Leopards.

Friday's boys high school basketball summaries

GLENOAK 47, LAKE 44 Ja'Corey Lipkins' go-ahead 3-pointer in the final seconds helped the Golden Eagles (16-4, 8-3) hold on to a share of first place in the Federal League. Lipkins and Reese Zerger scored 14 points apiece for GlenOak, which outscored the Blue Streaks 17-9 in the fourth quarter. Landyn Roth led Lake with 13 points.

HOOVER 56, LOUISVILLE 53 Wesley Collins scored 15 points and handed out five assists as the Vikings (7-11) pulled off the upset on the road. Zach Braucher scored 13 points and Mason Bille added 10 for Hoover. Will Aljancic and Brayden Gross finished with game highs of 16 points and seven rebounds for Louisville (14-4).

MARLINGTON 77, ALLIANCE 49 It's a three-peat for the Marlington girls basketball team. Elizabeth Mason scored a game-high 24 points to power the Dukes to a share of the Eastern Buckeye Conference championship with Salem. This marks the third straight season Marlington has shared the EBC title or won it outright. Maria Warner hit five 3s on her way to 17 points for the Dukes (18-2, 9-1). Lexi Miller scored 14 points. Chelsea Evanich finished with a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.

GREEN 57, PERRY 38 Brady Rollyson had a game-high 23 points for Green to help the Bulldogs defeat visiting Perry. The victory moved Green into a tie atop the Federal League standings after GlenOak defeated Jackson in overtime on Tuesday. All three teams are 7-3 in the conference with two league games to play. McKinley is just one game back in the loss column at 6-4. Mark Danner also had 12 points for Green. Joel Brown was the leading scorer for Perry with 11 points.

McKINLEY 64, LUTHERAN EAST 34 The Bulldogs prepared for their biggest game of the regular season by easily beating Lutheran East. Paris Stokes scored 18 points, handed out six assists and made six steals for McKinley (15-4), which can earn a share of the Federal League title Wednesday with a win at Green. Kylonne Foster scored 14 points, Mya Taylor finished with 12 while Jayla Sparks added 10. Ariahna Snell also had six steals. Sidnee Bowden blocked five shots.
