Highlights from Monday in high school sports:

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

  • Ayzlinn Trefren finished with 11 kills and 11 digs, Kyriah Trefren had 13 digs and four aces, and Emily Ford had 10 kills to lead Royal (21-5, 6-1) to a 25-19, 25-7, 25-16 sweep of Moorpark in a Coastal Canyon League match.

  • Alesia Thomas had 10 kills and five aces, Brenna Delle Donne finished with three aces and four digs, Abby Montana had seven kills and three aces, Olivia Campisi had six kills, and Kezia Bocasan compiled 31 assists to lead Simi Valley to a 25-19, 25-19, 25-14 sweep of Oak Park in a Coastal Canyon League match. The Pioneers remained tied with Royal for first place with a 6-1 league mark.

GIRLS GOLF

  • Avery Wells was the medalist with a 45, Sierra Engel and Annabelle Shilley each finished with a 46, and senior Charlotte Caro shot a personal-best 50 to lead Buena to a 237-264 victory over Royal in a nonleague match at Simi Hills Golf Course.
