Highlights from Monday in high school sports:

BOYS SOCCER

  • Tyler Nagel scored two goals, Owen Schoner and Adam Youngs scored goals, and Eric Valadez and Alex Fonseca had assists to lead Camarillo (10-8-2, 3-2) to a 4-0 win over Royal (3-14-1, 0-5) in a Coastal Canyon League match.

  • Andres Gutierrez finished with two goals and an assist, Ivan Ramos and Enrique Robles scored goals, and Jesus Avendaño and JP Navarro had assists to lead Hueneme (12-3-1, 6-0) to a 4-1 win over Malibu in a Citrus Coast League match.

  • Adrian Perez, Angel Avila and Gerardo Palmerin scored goals, Diego Alcaraz and Alejandro Lanza had assists, and Mariano Gonzalez had a clean sheet in net to lead Fillmore (5-6-2, 3-1-1) to a 3-0 victory over Nordhoff in a Citrus Coast League match.

GIRLS SOCCER

  • Savannah Hutchins and Zaina Barakat scored goals to lead Moorpark (9-3-2, 5-0) to a 2-0 victory over Camarillo (4-6, 2-3) in a Coastal Canyon League match.

  • Jordan Oswald recorded a hat trick and Dalia Absosaleem had two goals to lead Royal (3-6-2, 2-2-1) to a 5-0 win over Simi Valley (1-13, 0-5) in a Coastal Canyon League match.

  • Kaylyn López scored a goal off an assist from Kimberly Hernandez, freshmen goalie Caroll Olivares made four saves, and Natalie Ruiz and Danahi Olea played well as Hueneme (4-6-1, 3-1-1) earned a 1-1 draw with Malibu in a Citrus Coast League match.

  • Marlene Gonzalez scored a goal off an assist from Athena Sanchez to help Fillmore (4-3-4, 4-0-1) earn a 1-1 draw with Carpinteria.

BOYS WRESTLING

  • Thousand Oaks defeated Newbury Park 45-31 to defend its Marmonte League championship and qualify for the CIF dual championships on Saturday at Western High. Jackson Riggio (106 pounds), Jules Wojciechowski (138), James Rocha (170), Robert Svitek (195) and heavyweight Logan Shumaker all won by pin for the Lancers (10-5 overall).

BOYS BASKETBALL

  • Cooper Lucas scored 13 points, Caden Leff and Jace Birdsong each had 10 points, and Vikram Tholudur finished with eight points to lead Newbury Park (15-7, 3-2) to a 50-42 victory over Agoura in a Marmonte League game. Aidan Bell had 14 points and 15 rebounds, Zane Miller scored eight points, Nasir Meyer had seven points and Gavin Guenther added five points for the Chargers (8-9, 0-1), who were coming off a three-week hiatus and playing the first of 10 league games in the next 13 days.

  • Thomas Anter scored 14 points, Luke Anestos and Travis Valenzuela each had 10 points, Jack Rose had nine points, Jon Gurrola and Caleb Gorin each had eight points, Sam Plasch added seven points, and Tyler Woodworth finished with six points to lead Ventura (6-17, 3-4) to a 79-39 win over Pacifica in a Pacific View League game. Arturo Valencia scored 14 points for the Tritons (6-12, 1-2).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

  • Mimi Moon finished with 14 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists, Mikayla Oliver had 12 points, eight rebounds and four steals, Haven Ramirez had 11 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocks, and Alina Anguiano had 11 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals to lead Pacifica (8-8, 3-2) to a 61-44 victory over Buena in a Pacific View League game. Olivia Decierdo had 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals, Margaret Hampton had nine points and seven rebounds, Skyler Nerida finished with eight points, four rebounds, two steals and two assists, and Skye Thomas had seven points, seven rebounds and two assists for the Bulldogs (6-8, 4-2).

  • Abrial Ramirez finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds, Jasmine Lin had 15 points and three steals, Yazmin Wiggins had seven points and six rebounds, and Ariana Maldonado added three points, six assists and seven steals to lead Santa Clara (7-14) to a 55-36 win over La Reina (10-4) in a nonleague game.
